Anyone here post partum?

So, I had LGB in March 2008, lost 110lbs before getting pregnant back in April 2009. Had a healthy, wonderful baby boy this past January (he's almost 7 months now). I gained 20ish lbs during the pregnancy and that was after being put on meds to gain weight (lost a lot w/ my first pregnancy before surgery, same problems w/ this one). I ate healthy and light w/ the pregnancy.

Post partum I'm having a lot of issues loosing the weight. I'm eating normal, healthy, light meals, I exercise daily (stationary bike for 30min, and 40min. yoga). But I'm still not loosing that baby weight.

I'm not gaining... but I'm not loosing.

I'm really scared I did something during the pregnancy, like stretched my stomach back or something. I talked to my current doctor (but have never felt comfortable or supported w/ her) and she just said, "Well, you're free ride is over. Now you have to work to loose weight like the rest of us." That REALLY hurt!

I don't know, I have a gf who had a baby the same time (post LGB) and she said she's having the same issues.

Is this normal? Or have I really done something wrong and now I have to pay the price? I'm really scared and I'm having HORRIBLE self esteem issues right now. I can fit into most of my pre-pregnancy clothes but they don't look good so I went up a size. And now I feel awful about myself.

My husband says it's not that big of a deal but it is! I was given a gift and now I'm scared I screwed it up! And those who haven't had the surgery keep saying "Oh, it takes 9 months to put it on and it'll take years to get it off." But what they don't realize is, it shouldn't! Should it?

I'm having the same issue.  I've been hanging on to the last 10 lbs of my "baby weight" for almost 11 months now.  It doesn't matter what I do... it's just still there.  I think its more hormones and the body just needing the time to readjust.  Have you tried switching up your workout routine?  Weight training?  I've recently started back at the gym and am weight training and hoping the muscle will help burn some extra calories for me and tone me up.
