Bath Tubs
OK So Amelia is 2 months old ,24 1/2" long and 12 1/2 pounds now and the tub we have that sits on the sink doesn't accomodate her as well as I'd like. She is too long for it, her bottom 1/2 isn't in the water and she is always sliding down. This was a hand-me-down.
What tub do you have that you like for your infant? MAybe something that is convertible to use for a toddler as well?
Thanks ladies!

We have this one. http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Infant-Toddler-Sling/dp/B0 00067EH7/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1280435463&s r=8-1
We used it with the sling for a while and then took the sling out but we've put the sling back in until she's sitting up a little better. I don't know if we'll really use it until she's a toddler but for less than $20, I don't really care. We keep it in the tub in our master bathroom because we don't use that tub very much. We just empty and rinse it and tip it up against the side of the tub when we're done.

I want Annie to love the water so I have always just brought her in the bath tub with me and made it a really fun time! Once she got to be about 4 months old I started taking her Bumbo seat in the shower with me and she sits in her seat and plays with toys while I shower and then I wash her up. She loves it!! I just make sure the water isn't spraying on her but she stays warm and wet just by the mist and stuff. It makes it easy for me to get in a shower because I don't have to wait until she is sleeping or until my husband gets home. Im sure that would help you out too because you and your hubby have different schedules.
Hi,
This is the tub that I have used Eurobath Kit in White for all three of my kids. I use it infant to about age 2. When they are a little older it saves on water that using the regular tub.

Emilie

Bella has this one when she was a little baby we used the sling/net. But now I put it in the bath and fill just that up. It's perfect for us. But to save money you could just use Suzy's idea. When she can sit by herself otherwise it's so hard to hold her head and bathe her. I use to bathe with her but it just got to be to much.
