Haven't seen the dr yet.  But I'm DYING to go for a run.  I just found out I'm pregnant.  I could be anywhere from 2-6 weeks.  I have an apt to go tomorrow to the clinic because my dr is on vacation, but I was just wondering if anyone still runs while pregnant?  I typically run 2-4 miles a day regularlly, and ran monday actually the day before i found out i was preggers.  So any advice and comments are helpful!!!!

With exercise , as long as it was something you were comfortable doing before you got pregnant, you can continue doing it during pregnancy (just avoid extreme sports). Basically don't start some crazy exercise regime as soon as you find out you're pregnant. Be sure to keep well hydrated and don't get over-heated.

Jogging/Running is perfectly fine. One of my best friends jogged 4 miles a day up until the day before she delivered.

I've just heard not to do anything too strenuous, keep the heart rate down and don't get your core temperature too hot (it can lead to problems with baby.)  I'm sure if you do it moderately, it will be fine.

A friend of mine told me that she had a friend who was an avid runnner and ran often theoughout her pregnancy - the only result was that her baby found vigorous jiggling to be very soothing!
