Glucose test

Woohoo! I don't have to drink "the stuff". My doc said to be an hour early for the next appt because I would have to drink the syrup stuff to check for diabetes. I told him I didn't think my stomach would tolerate it because of the gastric bypass. He didn't balk at all, he just said okay, if you don't think you can, we'll just ***** your finger each time you come for an appt. If everything stays normal, we won't worry.

Man, I think that's great news!! I don't particularly like having my finger poked, but that's 100 times better than drinking sugar water!! Yay Me!!!

P.S. Have I mentioned I love my doctor!!!???!!!

ugh mine's making me do it, she said it's been 3 yrs you should be able to handle it. If not, then we'll do the ***** tests!
