Having a hard time deciding on a name for our baby boy. I know you ladies will give me your honest opinions. My husband and I have no other children together (he has three daughters from previous marriage - all grown). This is my first (and last). We both have the same middle name, so that's decided.

Here are my ideas so far (first and middle):
Blaise Lee
Gage Lee
Keegan Lee
Storm Lee
Tatum Lee
Kannon Lee
Stone Lee
Ryder Lee

Well, I have a list of about 10 names at home. These are the ones I can remember. Let me know what you think.

Thanks
Kina

Hi Kina,

I really like Gage.  We were actually thinking Lee as a first name when we didn't know what we were having.  I love that name.

It's funny, my husbands name was 'Stone' until he was born but then they named him Russell.  Not a fan of Storm, Tatum or Kannon.

Blaise is cool too :)

I like Gage & Stone. I also love Cooper and Grady. Those were my boy name picks, but we're having a girl. Naming a baby is hard work !!!

No kidding! Such a permanent thing. I had several cute girl names picked out - Sidda Lee, Bindi Lee, etc. Nope - having a boy!! My luck... LOL

I really like:
Keegan, Tatum, & Ryder

I dislike:
Blaise, Gage, Storm, Stone, & Kannon - they sound like warrior/gladiator names to me! lol! (That is just my opinion of course.)

I didn't realize how hard it would be to pick a name! It's quite the responsibility! We ended up picking 3 that we really liked for boy and girl and waited until we met our baby before we picked her name. Our list was Anberlin, Bella, & Sunday or McCoy, Asher, or Jace. We now have an Anberlin a.k.a. Annie. :-)

I need the last name to get the cadence right.  I read some of these as one word like "stonely"  without the last name to help me.  Hard consonants at the end of the first word make you pause more.

I like Harrison Lee ??    Harry for short.  Nice, masculine boy name.   Whatever you decide will be beautiful I'm sure.

Oh - Great!! Give me something else to think about!! LOL This is hard work!! I had discussed the "Lee" at the end of a one syllable name with my husband too. I wasn't sure about that, but then he says "well, who's going to be using both names when they talk to him, other than us when he's in trouble?" Good point, I guess... This coming from a guy that was seriously considering "Lucky" and "Chip" as names for our child!! LOL.... Men!!

Thanks for your input! Hope you get to use it soon!

P.S. I read where you posted earlier about adopting. My brother was adopted from strangers and I was adopted by my grandparents. I think it's great! Best wishes to you!!

Hehehe, just keeping you on your toes girl!   Your husband is right, you do only use the 2 names when you are yelling.   I even do that with my cats.    Yeah for adoptees!!!  I would love to adopt and if I ever do, I'll be posting it on the board as believe me, the pregnancy of paperwork is just as long and arduous and fraught with nausea and headaches and weight gain.  It's also incredibly expensive upfront to do so.   If I'd had that kind of money I'd have tried IVF.   (There is a government tax refund of $13k per child adopted and some states offer additional incentive $$ but it comes on the backend of things usually.)   As I'd said to the other poster.  When their is a will, there's a way.

Continued joy in your pregnancy Kina!   Let us know what you decide on the baby's name.
