Hi all,

I don't have kids, and I'm still in the investigational phase for the VSG surgery.  Right now I'm curious about many many different things, so I appreciate your honest responses.

After WLS is it hard to loose the baby weight?

Well, as a result of WLS you probably won't gain as much in the first place, so it is easier to lose in part because you'll have less to lose. I put on around 25lbs during my pregnancy, but went home from the hospital weighing only 4 lbs more than when I got pregnant. Withing two weeks I weighed 7 lbs less than when I got pregnant (breastfeeding really helps)!

Banded 03/22/06  276/261/184 (highest/surgery/lowest)

Sleeved 07/11/2013  228/165 (surgery/current) (111lbs lost)

Mom to two of the cutest boys on earth.
