Anberlin's 1st day of daycare and a mommy oopsy! *pics*
Annie finally had to start daycare today. I was okay though. We found a nice lady who is my age and is a SAHM with a 2 year old. She is only watching Anberlin and another families 2 young girls on occasion. She only charges $25/day only for the days she is there. She is so nice and her daughter is adorable and sooo well behaved. I have a great feeling about her and I feel like we might even become great friends with her and her husband.
As for my mommy oops - I put Annie on the couch to change her diaper and turned my back for a second and she was on the floor! I felt horrible!! Granted it wasn't a far fall and it was on carpet and she landed on her back thankfully I still wanted to cry!! It took a good 5 minutes to calm her down. Lesson learned that's for sure!
As for breastfeeding - not going so well anymore. Annie doesn't like to focus on eating unless we are in bed and there are no outside distractions. I am lucky if I can pump 8 oz during the day while at work. Annie ends up having to eat 1 or 2 bottles of formula a day which really bugs me! She has also started waking up super early (5am) and I am thinking it is because she isn't eating as much as she used to before she goes to bed for the night causing her to be hungry earlier than normal. I just talked to a lactation consultant and she suggested I pump for 15 minutes after every feeding and also start taking a supplement called More Milk Plus from the website motherlove.com. I just ordered it today so I am crossing my fingers that it helps! She said this is probably happening because I got my period back now and that can really affect your milk production. Ugghhh it totally sucks! We can't afford formula and I really wanted to make it to the 1yr mark! I'm crossing my fingers I can get this issue fixed soon! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

I am really sorry you feel bad! Don't, it seems like this lady is a great lady and if your gut is telling you she's okay than she's probably okay. As far as her falling off the couch, Bella has almost done that a ton. I put her on her changing station and I look away 2 secs and shes hanging off. So now I don't turn for anything!!! But I am sure it scared her more than hurt. Expecially since you have carpet not hard wood floor like us. Don't feel bad my mom said we all fell off something. I got thrown off a waterbed. Well more like shot off. haha!!
Now BF'ing, uhhh you got that first DREADED Heffer of a slore period!!! I got mine a little while back and it's been regular ever since URRRRR!! It did effect my milk alittle but not much. i am sorry about your supply. Bella gets distracted sooooo easily too. That's when I just go up to her room but she's a fast eater anyways. 7 mins on one side 5-7 on the other no matter what. have you went to WIC to see if you qualify. We are on it. I know they will help you out with formula. Craig's in the military and we qualify. If you checked before you should check again the amounts change all the time. I know money's tight when you have kids. Diapers, wipes, food. WIC also gives us baby food, meats, and cereals. Any little anything helps.
As ALWAYS Anberlin you are BEAUTIFUL!!!
