Worst nightmare EVER!

I had a dream (nightmare) last night that I went to the bathroom and start bleeding. I realized that it was so much blood so I started seaching for my baby and found her (in my dream it looked like a girl) in the toliet. She was only the size of my hand and moving about. She then died in my hand. I woke up sweating and screaming around 4 a.m. My Husband was freaked out a bit because I did scream out loud I guess. I was so mortified I couldn't even tell him what happened in my nightmare because I didn't want to upset him. I just told him that I had a nightmare and that our baby died. OMG!!!!! Ladies! Is this normal to have a dream like this? I have been so sick to the stomach with the thoughts of it today and I can't get it out of my mind. It just seemed so real in my dream. Has anyone else had these type of dreams while they were pregnant? I'm just pretty shooken up about it and I don't want to dream anymore if it's going to be like that.

I think it's pretty normal to have vivid dreams like that while pregnant.
With my twins I had awful ones about babies crying and not being able to find them in the house. I would always wake up in a panic, crying, freaking out poor DH.

((hugs))
A lot of my mama friends have reported similar nightmares while pregnant.

It is completely normal. Pregnancy fears in the back our minds are manifested in our dreams.

I had a dream like that last night, too.  I've had it at least a dozen times since finding out I was pregnant.  All we can do is take a deep breath and "think happy thoughts!"

I had some horrible dreams while I was pregnant too. The worst one was I sat on the toilet and saw I was bleeding then I gave birth to only a head. I too woke up crying and shaking.

Hormones do wierd things to us!

Yep, the crazy dreams are normal. I kept dreaming that my baby was born so tiny he was basically pocket sized. Since he was so tiny and quiet, I kept forgetting to feed him until he was nearly dead!
