Any VSG'ers? What vits are you taking while pregnant?

Just wondering what vits you are taking while pregnant?  Any other VSG and pregnancy related info you could pass along would be great.

Just a prenatal and DHA/Fish oil. My nutritionist said that's all I need.

I had blood drawn and my labs checked at my last OB visit and everything is perfect.

Thanks for replying.  That's all I'm on too...just wondering what others in the same boat were doing.  I too got pregnant a little early post op.  All's well so far though.  I go for my 18-20 week ultrasound on Tuesday.  Really excited...we have 4 adopted children...never thought we'd get pregnant.  We have 2 boys and 2 girls...so this one will be a tie breaker...lol

Oh wow! How exciting! You guys have a full house. Be sure to post and let us know what you're having.

Our #3 was a HUGE surprise- with the twin, we'll have 3 under 2 years old...

I am just taking Prenate DHA & have done really well with it. I think I'll continue it even after the pregnancy/breastfeeding. I could not find a Vitamin that I could tolerate post-op until my OB gave me this. I love it because it's a gel cap.

Well, I had some vitamin issues initially post-op due to all the complications I had, so I am taking a lot more vites than you girls!  I take 1 prenatal (2 when I remember), 2- 500mg calcium, 1- 10,000 Vit D sublingual, and 1- B12 sublingual daily.  I also take 2 zantac daily because of my horrible heartburn.  So far my #'s have been great and baby is doing awesome.

Hi there - congrats on your pregnancy! My nut advised me to take 4 calcium citrate (2 am, 2 pm), a multi in the am, and prenatal and iron in the pm. I thought it sounded like a lot, so I'm going to ask my OB to run bloodwork at my 7/26 appt.

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.
