Ok so this is gonna be kinda lengthy and I APOLOGIZE up front.  But I am pregnant with baby #1 who we call "butterbean" and I have had a pretty smooth pregnancy so far (but again we are only 10 wks along LOL) but we moved this weekend and I was forbidden to touch ANYTHING! It drove me insane to say the least--

Anywho on Tues I was walking around Target-  LOVE TARGET and all of a sudden I was walking and a wave of quesyness washed over me and I had what I term as "tunnel vision" and all I could think was I have GOT to sit down before I pass out.  Well, I stumbled to the front of Target and sat down and broke out in a cold, clammy sweat and I was freeking out b/c I was all by myself.

Called the OB and they said to eat a good lunch b/c it sounds like my sugar had dropped and possibly my BP too.  Well, I ate lunch and went on to work and I just did not get to feeling better--was feeling weak and "jittery" inside.  So I called the OB back (@4pm) and the Dr had me go to the ER and my BP at that time was normal and my sugar started at 120 which is great but started dropping and the lowest it got was 90 which is low for me.  So after I waited for a room, they did a UA and drew some blood and the results were that I had the start of a UTI which i was told is VERY common in pregnancy but the part that had me concerned is that I was dehydrated-even though i drink all day long and they had to give me 3L of fluid and my Potassium, Sodium and Hemoglobin was all low and my main concern was is my butterbean ok, so the PA we had was AWESOME and she sent me to have another U/S done just to make sure butterbean is ok.  Well Praise the Lord-butterbean is good and getting bigger lol  Our cute lil blob is getting to be a bigger blob.  But I was put out of work yesterday and was strictly told to drink, drink, drink and eat, eat, eat.  Oh yeah and I saw the NUT on Tues mornin and she up'd my cals a day to 1500.  Ok I am done rambling--it just scared me to death.  Anyone had anything like this happen before??  Just curious.  Thanks for listenin-well reading lol

LOL I LIVE for low blood pressure and blood sugar. You get used to it as far as being able to handle it. I eat about every 2 hours or so and drink Gatoraid and eat lots of salt. I do have BP issues when I am not pregnant that has gotten worse. If it was your BP it can go back up but you can still feel icky since it dropped. Good luck with all of this.

Yep, same thing happened to me at about 30 weeks or so. I was at work and had to have someone come pick me up and take me home. It was scary. After that I just had to eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours all day. I was also drinking about 100 oz of water a day. The day that it happened I felt crummy that whole day and the next but then it started to get better

Good luck and hope you feel better!

I'm so happy that you got to the root of the problem and were able to figure out what it was!  That's pretty scary when that happens... it's happened to me abbout 3 times!

It's just so difficult to get used to eating all day long when you are accustomed to doing the opposite!  I've started carrying some mixed nuts and raisins in my purse with me wherever I go.

Cute nickname for "Butterbean"!  We call ours "The Bean."  LOL
