Ob visit updates

I saw my high risk and regular ob today! I had ultrasound and monitoring.

Baby is happy and healthy. Ultrasound went well and monitoring took a little bit as he wanted to sleep but he finally got up and got the hiccups. On the ultrasound he was practicing breathing and is measuring 6 pounds 4 ounces - yes big boy!

I lost 6 pounds from last Thursday and my bp was great. So, the swelling was down and it showed beseech is helping!!!

Sorry, posting from my phone and can't fix the typo. Bed rest is working. I now go to ob once a week, high risk twice a week for monitoring, and still stay on bed rest.

Awww thats great that the bedrest is working. Hoping that me and the BP issues get better or i may end up in the same boat. But i would take bedrest over losing my baby anyday!! Congrats on the big baby! Did your BP send you to the High Risk Dr? Just curious b/c as of now we are NOT considered high risk but if the BP doesnt get higher i am wondering if they will switch me. Nervous abt everything lol

But Congrats again on the good news and keep on baking!!

I was seeing high risk in the beginning due to age and multiple losses. Once everything was going well I was released about six weeks ago. Then, when I went on bp meds two and a half weeks and then had to increase my meds the ob said I had to see the high risk ob due to bp.

That's wonderful news Traci!!!! I am so glad that your BP is better. Sounds like you were retaining some fluids. Please keep us posted on baby Mac. Sounds like he is gonna be a big guy :)

Good job - keep on doing that bed rest so you and your baby are safe and healthy when the big day gets here. LOL...get some CDs or something and learn a new language. At least that's a little something different to do!
