Prayer Warriors-An update

So we went we were completely ready, they told us they would come get her at 11am.  Well at 10:50, they called her name, I thought it was time...oh how I was wrong.  The dr. was still in his first surgery for the day due to some complications and extended surgery.  We were 4th on his list for the day but they told us it was best to reschedule.  We could stay, but they couldn't tell us how long, if even today.  After my daughter crying for three hours, I gave in and said I would reschedule.  I couldn't put her through anymore for a "maybe" it would be today.  She hadn't eaten since 5:30 am and was just in tears.  I don't question why, but in GOD's plan, her surgery wasn't today.  My mom and I talked that there was some other family with their child in surgery that was an hour surgery now going on four hours, so although GOD didn't "not answer" my prayers, I just have to believe HE was healing someone else and answering another mom's prayers.  I dread going through it again, the crying, the face she has not understanding why mommy's not making her feel better, but in three week (yes first available date was 8-4-10) we will venture to do this again.  I realized as a mom already, the plan you set out isn't always the way you.  Stajah has a small problems, and we will get it fixed one way.  I thank you all for reading and appreciate to the fullest your prayers.  I will be calling on you again in the future!  Stacey

You have an excellent way of looking at things!! I am sorry you have to go through this again in 3 weeks, that part is a bit disappointing.

Your outlook is amazing. We'll be here ready to pray again when the time's right

Sorry you and Stajah had to go through the aggrevation of waiting like that for nothing. But, as you mentioned, some other family had possibly worse problems. Hopefully God was standing by them at that time.

More prayers going out for your next try. I hope Stajah isn't having to suffer much during the wait.

Though I'm sorry you weren't able to just 'get it over with' for Stajah and your sake....I am glad that you were able to see that the dr was needed more elsewhere, answering another mother's prayers.  God willing, that surgery for the other baby was successful. 

It's hard when your little girl's so small and can't understand why you're not feeding her when she's 'asking.' That's a real test of your own strength just to get through the guilt from that...even though it's for the best.

 I will keep you guys in my prayers!
