Rowan is 1! (pic heavy)
Well, my baby isn't so much a baby anymore!
He started out the night before with new "big boy" pajamas:

He got lots of presents!

I made some gluten free zoo animal themed cupcakes and cake for him:

They matched some of his stuffed toys:

He liked his cake:

And he loved his new ride (although so far he can only make it go backwards):

He's *thisclose* to walking on his own. He could do it if he had a little more confidence, but he's just not ready to let go of my last finger. He's saying "Mamamamama", and most of the time he seems to mean me when he says it - although sometimes he says it when he wants me to give him something. He also calls daddy "Da!" The cats are "Khhhh!" And I think he's also trying to say "Up." He's weighing around 22.5 lbs, and he's pretty tall, but we haven't measured him yet. He's the BEST sleeper, he goes down around 7:30 every night and gets up around 6:45. He's transitioning to one nap a day now, but some days still takes 2.
For his big present, we got him one of these: http://www.amazon.com/B-2e-Zany-Wooden-Activity-Cube/dp/B002 YIX0XA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1278945679&sr =8-2
I TOTALLY recommend it, he LOVES it! It's sturdy enough to pull up on and seems to be quite durable!
