"Taking Charge..." is a great book. I read it before trying to conceive. It helped me understand the process and how to chart, etc.

Both are good books.  The TCOYF is good if you are not aware of how to chart or how cervical mucuous works, etc.

The Fertility Diet is good to read when knowing everything from TCOYF, but still having trouble conceiving.

Never read those, but have a copy of "What to expect before you are Expecting" and WOW that is the worst $13.00 I ever spent. I found a lot more useful info online for free than what read in that book and half of it is filled with corny jokes and ramblings that have nothing to do with TTC.
