Men!! They don't get it

Yesterday was 1 Yr since my ectopic and next week will be 2yrs since my miscarriage.  So natually I was feeling down yesterday.  When hubby asked what was up, all I did was give him a sad look and he figured it out.  His comment to me was "Can't you just forget about it?"  ARG!!!  At least he gave me a hug and let me cry it out on his shoulder.

July's a hard month for me to...and I remember you and your loses occuring around the same time as mine.  I think it's harder on us because we were the ones physically going through it...plus I think men feel they have to be 'tough' and not be emotional.  It doesn't mean they don't care...I think more than anything, they hate seeing US upset because they know they can't fix it.

I know my miscarriage hit me far harder then it did my hubby. Not because he didn't care and he was upset but the pregnancy wasn't "real" to him yet because he couldn't feel or see anything (unlike us whoknow for so long and already start bonding with the little squiggly)

I agree with Holly. It is more real to us than the guys cause it's our body. I called out of work Wednesday cause i couldn't stop crying since I miscarried that night. I thought last night would be worse for me since that is when I found out. I was able to cry on the hubby but he wasn't understanding really. He did admit that he misses the baby we loss.
