Question for PCOS ladies

I have a question for other women with PCOS...
I have very irregular periods. I have only had 2 periods this year. One in Feb and one in May. Is it possible to not get another period before I am pregnant? Like go 3 more months and then I magically ovulate and get pregnant?
I was wondering about that because I tend to have really heavy periods when I do get them and assumed it was because of all the uterine lining piling up and not shedding on time. Would that affect an egg that was trying to implant? I imagine it would be very cushy in there!
Random thought of the day!
Thanks for your insight :)

I would suspect that if you aren't having regular periods that you might not be ovulating. What does your reproductive endocrinologist say? Have you had an internal u/s?

I suppose it's possible because you don't have to have a period before you ovulate. But if you haven't shed your lining in that long, it's probably not likely that the uterine environment will be conducive to a pregnancy. Your hormones may not be right either. I would consult with your doctor rather than just playing the "wait and see" game. Cysters rarely win that one. I'm just lurking btw. Good luck!

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.
