Alex is 10 months old! (update with pics)
I can't believe how quickly time has been flying by. Today is Alex's 10 month "birthday". He has grown so much in the last few weeks, it's unreal.
He currently has 6 teeth (4 upper, 2 lower) and is working on the other 2. We are in teething hell at the moment, but he's being a trooper for the most part. Nights are the worst time. He is cruising and climbing on everything. He is starting to let go of things and just stand there, but he is very cautious. I have caught him take a step or 2 without holding on as well. It's only a matter of time before he's off walking. Truthfully, I'm in no rush.. I can barely keep up with him now! Our whole main floor of the house is one big play area that has been baby gated up the wazoo.
He has an incredible appetite. He now surpasses me in the quantity of food taken in at mealtime. I have learned that he won't just eat a piece of my dinner... he will eat my WHOLE dinner. He eats anything and everything. Though his faves are pizza (i think its because the crust is good for teething) and hot dogs.
He's great at shaking his head "No", even if he means "yes". He has started to wave hi and bye bye, as well as say "hi dadada".
He has his wellbaby check-up last week and weighed in at 19lbs and 5oz.. and a mere 28 1/4" tall. He looks so much bigger than he actually is.
He is still not a very good bottle drinker, and refuses a sippy cup. We have started to skip and he drinks straight from my glass. The doctor is not concerned about the zero interest in the sippy because he wants to drink from a glass.
I have started to plan his 1st birthday. I can't believe it's already so close. I found a great theme and had to order it online from the States because it's not available in the complete package here. I'm so excited!
Anyways, here are a few pics!!!
