As a proud Mama...I just had to get some photos uploaded and show yall..
And a few more....
and of course....a few more...(ill stop eventually...)
last time...lol
Now to the questions...
1--Was it hard for you (if post op pregnancy) to regain an appetite? I cant seem to "want" food...like I want to eat, but have no clue what I want and when I get something....its not the flavor I want. UGH!
2--Did your pouch feel funny? Like it shrunk? (is that a word?) I feel like when I do actually eat, I cant eat NEARLY as much as I could when I was pregnant, or maybe its just cause I am scared of pooping....
3--I need help with heartburn!! OMG, its so horrible! As pain mgmt, for my c-section I was given liquid loratab....well I think it is causing issues in my pouch with ulcers, but cant really help that as I need to heal from the "surgery" I usually take nexium for my ulcers, but am having a hard time getting the script refilled because of insurance issues.....well.....can I take carafate while im breastfeeding?? I HAVE A HUGE BOTTLE....and know that it can pacify me until i can take care of the insurance issues....BUT....i dont want to danger my LO cause of the carafate?? Any suggestions?

She is gorgeous!!!
Yep, I had no appetite for a few weeks either and my pouch felt like I was a new post op again. I swear I was back to eating 10 bites of food. Nothing interested me either, my family kept making me eat.
I am not sure about the carafete but call the pharmacy or your OB and ask them. I am pretty sure you can take pepcid but ask the Pharmacist that too (you can just call, they'll tell you). I have been on lortab several times post op and it has always been fairly easy on my pouch bu****ch, it can cause constipation so take a stool softener.
Hope you and Miss Claudia are loving being together!

Oh, my goodness ... That baby is too sweet! I love her hair, and her cheeks, and her ... well, everything! Good job, momma! And, Yea for red-headed babies!
Here's my answers to your questions, for what they are worth ...
1--Was it hard for you (if post op pregnancy) to regain an appetite?
Unfortunately, no. I was tired so I wasn't very motivated to eat, and the hormones can really do a number on how food will taste to you. Your body just went through a pretty strenuous thing .. It will take time for it to heal.
2--Did your pouch feel funny? Like it shrunk? Yes, shrunk is a word. lol ... And yes, my pouch feels weird now, even at eleven months after having Lydia. I think a lot of things are different shapes now. :)
3--I need help with heartburn!! I slept at an incline with extra pillows to prop me up. Gravity can help keep the yuks down.
Congrats! She is really beautiful!
