Well you guys, the pregnancy journey is over for me, and I cant say that Im upset. (well I can a little, I do miss my LO's little kicks and hick-ups) I gave birth to my little
Claudia Makenzie on July 2 2010 @ 12:25 pm. Here is our story....
On July 1st, I kept trying to tell everyone "something didnt feel right". I actually laid around all day, just exhausted....everyone kept telling me "your pregnant, its normal to not feel right" I tried and tried to explain to them that, I had been pregnant for 9 months and knew what "pregnant" felt like...anyway.....
July 2 2010, my water broke as I was asleep in my bed at 5:30 am. I calmly woke up DH and told him the infamous line "HONEY ITS TIME" line, and he got up got dressed, and we left.....When I stood up to get out of the NEW car...I had another gush of fluid, so at this point I KNEW I wasnt peeing on myself that it was actually amniotic fluid...
Came up to Mother/Baby, and got in my room - ya know all the usual....by 10A I was dialated to 5, getting my epi and baby's heart rate dropped below 100 with every contraction, of course, IM FREAKIN OUT....and my dr finally decides to do a C-Section. (not in my plan, but my daughters best chance of survival was in my plan!!) To make an already long story short, the got me to the OR preped, and Claudia was born at 12:25p. All 6lbs 6oz and 19 inches long...Just as beautiful as they can be.....looks every bit of her daddy, except her nose, and eyes....those are mine...NOT TO MENTION HER BEAUTIFUL HEAD FULL OF RED HAIR!!! (thats mine too!!)
I hope all of you ladies are ready for your own adventures into mommyhood....trust me, all the pain and heartache are totally worth it!! Holding that LO for the first time.....OMG no words can describe!!

Congrats! I had to laugh about the c-section not being in your plan but having Miss Claudia survive was. That was a good plan...one you'll reap the benefits of for the rest of your life. Get your rest and healing time in...welcome to 'MommyHood.'

Congratulations and Welcome to Mommyhood! Claudia Mackenzie is so adorable and was definitely worth the wait as I am sure you know more than anyone. I agree that in the end however she got here is not important, just awesome that she is happy and healthy. Thanks for letting me be your angel. I look forward to seeing updates on Claudia as she grows! 
Congrats!!!! Just looked at her pics and she is perfect, and, even though the section wasnt in your plans, the fact that you are upbeat and positive about it really shows something :). Glad everything went well, and I so cant wait to hole my little one!!!
