If you have excess skin on your tummy--when did ur bump appear?

I have the majority of my excess skin on my stomach area and I notices at week 12 that my tummy began to poke out more than it should at that stage of my pregnancy. I'm still rounding and look like I'm about 6 months in some clothes but its not full and round (ie cute) so was wondering when did you start looking like a pregnant bump rather than just bloated?

This isn't going to seem lke good news to you...I really only popped out about 1.5 months ago. I still don't really look like I am going to give birth in a month (or hopefully less). My bump is cute though and I love it. I don't have a TON of excess skin though, just a little. I found that wearing the pants that have the panel that goes all the way over your belly makes it look a lot cuter. If I wear the pants that go under the belly, I usually wear a tightish maternity tank top and that usually helps the way it looks. Is this your first? If it's not then that's prob why you look a little bigger (like 6 months).

Thanks Tina! Yes this is my first! In clothes bump looks cute especially if its something A line but its when I'm looking at it that it just looks as blot because instead of the bottom filling out my panni still looks deflated  so it appears that I have two different stomachs a nice round one on top and then the excess skin on the bottom. I'm still relatively small (I'm 5'10 and weigh 160 lbs) so any change in my tummy can be seen but I'm guessing it'll be September *sigh* before i truly fill out.

I was in maternity pants at 12 weeks. I wore some old jeans I had from week 6 to 12. I am huge and as big as someone due in Aug that I work with. Feel kinda odd but oh well. I do have extra skin and it looks kinda funny cause it is hanging off the bottom of the baby. I look like I am carrying lower than I am because of it.

"looks kinda funny cause it is hanging off the bottom of the baby" is what i think is happening to me and that it may not completely fill but I LOVE not trying to hite my belly and will rock it for the next 6  months before I put it back in hiding lmao

I just seen our babies are only a few days apart! I look fat and I don't have too much skin. Just enough that I want a Tummy Tuck. lol People can tell I'm pregnant though.

I normally don't have a lot of skin but this was the year for the tummy tuck! But lil sweetpea spoiled that plan lol. I just feel that its not likenormal people my size and I want to see a lil more bump lol.

I have a small panni, and I am 16 weeks. I am in that "is she gaining her weight back or is she pregnant? stage". But it does look better in maternity clothes, they seem to give you the right shape..

I am surprised that I am 8 weeks with number 3 and I am still wearing my "skinny girl" jeans! When I was 6 weeks I switched to maternity with my second. I heard that it is more common to start showing with the second and even more so with the 3rd. I know someone that is 4 weeks ahead of me, and she was looking 5 months at 8 weeks! Well I guess I will not be showing for a long time then. I am also very lucky to not have an excessive amount of skin though. I do have some that I am interested in getting a TT, but it is not hanging too badly.

I am 15 weeks and so far no bump- not even the contour of one- I do have a pani also, I lost about 15lbs the first trimester so I just look normal, not even pregnant- Hoping that by week 16, I'll have a bump...
