Hello all! I am new to this forum, and I just wanted to share my awesome news!!!

For 2 years hubby and I have been trying to get pregnant. Well, no luck. Due to my weight my body stopped ovulating. I would try to track my periods and ovulation, but my cycles were so off that I just gave up. Everytime I took an ovulation test it would come up negative (one line).....well 2 months after surgery I took an ovulation test and I GOT A POSITIVE!!!! OMG I am beyond happy! Of course I can't make use with my ovulating yet, but it was so nice to see my body working right again! YES!!!

WOO HOO!!! That happened for me too. Never had a regular period until after my surgery. Just be careful not to get pregnant too soon out from surgery.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

That is good news, congrats!  Unfortunately, I have the opposite reaction - after surgery, I haven't been ovulating at all.

Congratulations Channel! Well, just makes the point for our surgeries/procedures. We did it to get our bodies healthier. And you're living proof. Hopefully, when you're ready, you'll have a little baby to prove it too!!

Good job with the weight loss!!

Best wishes.

I was in the same boat... I actually bled for 2 years straight... It was horrible,. I finally found an OB that took me seriously and my husband and I have been TTC for 13 years... he finally did a procedure, and a laparoscopic D&C hysteroscopy and something else that flushed my tubes out and within a month I was pregnant, I was due to start my clomid cycle that month but didn't need too... BUT I also had lost 160 lbs. I went from 298 down to 140... So, it took me time, but it sure the hell is worth it.

Your time will come ♥ and I am VERY proud of you for recognizing that you knew it was your weight that is making your ovaries behave badly... A lot of women are in denial about it, they don't realize that your estrogen goes into your fat cells and NOT into your ovaries where they belong, (which makes you ovulate...)

Anyhow, My best to you sweetie, Congrats on the postive and its a wonderful step in the right direction!!!
