i was sure by now I would have had the baby by now. I guess it's a good thing- the longer he cooks in there the better... i am getting very anxious though. I went to my dr. yesterday and he did some manipulation inside of me- i think it's called membrane scraping that is supposed to get me started naturally. I came home and started cramping and was having regular cramping (or contractions so i thought) every 30 minutes... I went to sleep last night woke up this morning and nothing, zero, ziltch... no pains no nothing.

Oh well i guess i should just enjoy this time and relax. Maybe all this anxiety and me being anxious is causing my little one to not want to come out and play. LOL

I hear ya on the "no baby yet"... I am dying to meet our wee man!  At least your doc has gotten things started with stripping your membrane - that usually does the trick to get things going... have you tried taking a nice long walk to get things moving along again? Good luck!

Girl, i have tried everything (within safe and sound reason). Walking, ate pineapple, kiwi fruit, sat on my birthing ball (round fitness ball) and even tried having sex (if that is what you would call that! LOL)

Nothing... hopefully if the baby hasn't arrived by next Tuesday he will do something else to help things out a little. He leaves on Thursday... I don't want some other guy to deliver my baby! I told him i hired him for a reason. LOL

LOL to the "even tried having sex"... my hubby is Army and has been away for the last month.. he just came home on Monday so there's been plenty of sex.. and still NO baby for us either! At this point, I could care less about getting it on!

Hey, just thought I would add acupuncture- I did a few of the pressure points on my legs and less than 12 hours later was in labor- it wasn't painful. If you google it you will find a few different suggestions. There is one on the inside of your leg a handspan above your anklebone- I can find it now! That is supposed to directly stimulate labor in the advanced stages of pregnancy- I was already in early labor and dialating too I was definitely just waiting for that extra kick. I sat and massaged each leg for ten minutes just once, and bam! Just a thought if you're interested. There are other spots too, but this one was the one I could find and definitely tell I was doing it right, because it felt different, like a pressure point. Hopefully baby will be here soon!

Try a cobb salad. It worked for me. Ate a cobb salad at about 9pm on Jan. 25th and by midnight I was starting labor.

As i sit here at 36w 5 days...and I read your pregnancy ticker saying you are 62 weeks pregnant, I couldnt stop laughing....to the point of tears. Im sure its God's way of telling me to stop rushing everything, but girl I needed to see that. Thank You for not taking it down yet!
