7 weeks, anyone on special diets?

I'm 7 weeks along with my second pregnancy and I've already gained 3-5 pounds, mostly fluid it seems since it fluctuates. I had lost 160 pounds with RNY and was almost 2 years out but after a miscarriage in January I gained 20 pounds back...ugh! My weight is now back up to 220-225 and I want to be sure that for my baby's sake I don't gain too much weight.

Has anyone been put on a special diet while they're pregnant after RNY or should I just eat normal and sensible meals and hope for the best?

PS...I have an ultrasound done tomorrow and I'm so excited! ( a little nervous too since we lost the first one). Looking forward to seeing/hearing the heartbeat.

eat like you would normally eat.... of course dont go over board but make sure your taking in carbs and enough protien.. take your vitimans

Eating as close to normal as possible... however morning sickness is making that tough at times.
My Nutritionist said to try for 100g of protein, 100g of carbs and 300-500 extra calories each day for a healthy pregnancy.
