i am due in 9 days. the past 2 days i have been so hungry all the time. i will eat, and then about 30 minutes later i am hungry again. and the hunger is more like a starving feeling... this has gone on for 2 days now. so weird... i just had a smart ones weigh****cher pizza about 1 hr. ago, and i am sitting here starving hungry.

has anyone else felt like this- hungry all the time. i could see this happening earlier in my pregnancy, but 9 days before my due date? weird....

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was a bottomless pit in the end of the third trimester.  Your body is probably trying to store some energy for labor.  If you are worried about gain, I wouldn't stress, because how much can you really gain in the next 9 days, give or take a few?  Hang in there and eat whatever sounds reasonably healthy and good and don't stress about it.

Thanks ladies! Yea, i am not concerned so much about the weight gain. I think you are right about my body trying to store some energy for labor. I need to listen to my body and eat healthy. It's very strange though... I haven't felt "hunger" like this for so long.

I think i'll go eat now... LOL

yep I was like that after my morning sickness wore off at 12 weeks. I was starving all the time and ate a ton, but I only gained 27 lbs the whole pregnancy. I was eating every 1-2 hrs and couldn't get enough food it felt like.

Your metabolism is faster and burns things off more quickly than normal and food moves through your system faster than it did before you were pregnant. After I had the baby, my appetite went back to normal. GL with your delivery soon!

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!

It's weird, because I'm only 8 weeks, but feel the same way.  I've been eating a lot more snacks between my meals.  I have the lap-band, which is supposed to keep me fuller for a longer period of time, but I can definitely feel a difference!  Usually, I'm like, "Well, I ate about 3 hours ago, so I guess I should eat again" but now, after about 1.5-2 hours, my stomach is GROWLING!

yes! i can totally feel the difference with my eating since being pregnant. i can definatley eat more then i did before. i guess that's our bodies needing more fuel for our little ones.

About 4 days before I went into labor I was hungry too- and really sleepy! I had two days where I literally could not stay awake at any point, day or night. Then, I had nesting and tons of energy for two days, then I went into labor! Go figure! I think it's interesting what our bodies tell us to do, and that listening is such an important skill. Way to go with only 9 days left!

I'm a total hog.  I'm hungry all the time, but try to eat only every 2-3 hours (though I usually fail at that!)  I'm 26 weeks, but have felt like this pretty much all along.  We ate dinner one night at about 6.  At 8 I asked hubby to go get me something.  He said, "We JUST ate."  I felt bad for about 2 seconds then told him to try growing a human and see if he's hungry!  I think it's normal.  And only 9 days to go, I think you're golden.

When I get like that I find a protein/fat combo stops it.  Like this morning I took leftover chicken and mixed with mayo (chix salad).  I figured it was a big dose of DHA for the baby.  Haha.

I didn't need to eat again for almost 6 hours!
