Today is the big US day! Boy or girl?

Well, in about 6 hours we should know if we're having a boy or a girl...I'm more anxious to see that the baby is healthy. I haven't seen an ultrasound since 7 weeks. Didn't look like much then.

I talked to my husband again this morning. I told him (again) how concerned I am that he will be disappointed if it's not a boy. He hugged me and said girls are just as good as boys and he just wants it to be healthy. So, is he just saying that, or does he mean it? Time will tell. I think I'll be able to tell by his reaction today.

I may go crazy waiting til 4:00 !! Finally I can say "he" or "she" and not "it". Just doesn't feel right calling a baby "it". LOL

I must confess, I am dying to know too, lol. Sounds like he is coming around. And I have seen big macho men turn to mush at the sight of their beautiful little girls. Don't worry, and celebrate afterwards by shopping and picking out a pink or blue outfit  :)

I am so excited for you!  I'm sure that your husband is going to adore your child, regardless of the gender.  And after today, you can REALLY start shopping!!  Weeeee!!!

Aaah. Your hubby's response sounds exactly like what it should be. I am sure he means it. Even if he would prefer a boy, I am sure he will love a little girl as well. I have to say that, before we found out we were having a girl, I was convinced we were having a boy if, for no other reason, than that I really wanted a girl. You can't help what you want, but I would have loved a little boy soooooooo much and I am sure your hubby will love another little girl if that's what you end up having. I can't wait to find out. You have to tell us ASAP! Ugh! Don't you hate it when your appointment is that late in the day?!
