OT: Moving Day

As I posted a couple of weeks ago, I found a townhouse that would save considerable money and is closer to the hospital.  (I am still having a lot of complications with my RNY, which was 3 years ago, and complications are beginning with the baby)

I went today and signed the lease, paid the deposit.  I will be moving on July 1.........I am excited, even though I know no one.  It's like a new start.......and I think it will be good for me.

The only thing.....someone needs to tell my cat.  LOL  She hates the carrier and I haven't even been able to get her to the vet because of her aversion to leaving the house.  So when I take her, it will be an interesting day.  She will meow and cry over the entire 30 minute drive.....Wish Me Luck!~

I'm very happy for you and I hope everything goes great in your new home!!! It always feel good to get a fresh start. I can't wait to be able to move in a few months after Mischa's born and I go back to work :)

I understand the cat thing. Mine hates a carrier or box or anything. The best way to take my cat, Kane, in the vehicle is just set him on my lap. (not the safest, I'm sure) He just lays down and sleeps. Sometimes he'll set up and look at the world going by out the window, but he's so calm. It's just so traumatic for him in a carrier. Poor things, you just can't reason with them!!! LOL
