Stajah has a hernia

Wow, that must have been scary! I don't know anyone with this issue, but babies are so much more reslient than we think, my friend's son had open heart surgery at 8 DAYS old and he recently turned 2!

My son just turned a year and has had surgery 3 times.  The first one was 5 days old (he was under 4 pounds when they did it) and that was heart surgery.  The second one was when he was 9 months old to fix a hernia, his intestines were twisted and to place a feeding tube.  He just had a surgery yesterday to have the feeding tube changed.  My son did great with all three surgeries.  The only kept my son overnight for the second surgery.  Best of luck to you.
