Shower was wonderful!

The shower yesterday was wonderful! I had great hostesses and great location. I really enjoyed those that showed up and opening all the gifts! We had a huge load of gifts. We are humbled and honored with everything people gave us.

We have two showers coming up (July 1 my work and then end of July hubby's work). I can't imagine bringing more stuff into the house!

Just wanted to share. One of the hostesses is going to give me a cd with all the shower pictures.

So glad to hear it went well. Your little boy is already spoiled and not even here yet...lol Can't wait to see the pics. My friend founds out the sex of her baby this week and then it is no holds barred for me and the shower planning. I did not have one so I will live vicariously through hers.

I am so much better at giving that receiving. I have thrown bridal and baby showers for people and never thought once about it. But, when it was time for my shower, I had such issue with people spending money and buying me gift. It is just who I am.

The one complaint that I have is that there were a lot of people that didn't send regrets and just  didn't show up. Plus a lot of people talked to me the day before shower about coming and didn't show up. We still had a nice turn out. It was just sad  that my hostesses paid for food and cake for that many people. We have so much cake and food at our house that they sent home from the restaurant with us!

I am so glad it went so well.

We had a TON of people who never RSVP'd as well. It's so frustrating! Cuz my mom paid for a bunch of extra food too.

That drives me crazy too, when people do not RSVP (or do and don't show up anyway). We had a bunch of people do that at our wedding last year, with all kinds of excuses. It was furious we still had to pay for their plates when we could have saved that money. Some people just have no consideration these days.
