questions
hey everyone, my name is Amy and I am 14 months out from RNY. I have lost over 200 pounds and I am finally at a healthy BMI. Well me and my spouse are planning to have a child in the next few months, but first we have a dr appt. with my surgeon on thurs to discuss this. my question to you all is how did you keep the weight gain to a minimum. how much did you gain and did you take it off after the baby was born? did you count calories throughout your pregnancy? thanks im just trying to get insight from all sources.

I was 2 1/2 years out when I got pregnant. I would log my food maybe 3-4 times in the beginning just so I could guage where I was calorie, carb and protein wise. In my first trimester I lost 15 pounds, gained it back in the 2nd and ended up with a total of 26 pounds gained. I lost all of it and 12 more pounds by the time she was 3 weeks old.
