I am glad to hear the appointment went well.  When it came to my dr and prentals, he prescribed me some.  I was concerned about swallowing the huge pill.  I had heard they have chewable prenatals.  You may ask about those.  I did express my concern with my dr.  He told me that if i had trouble with the pill to cru**** up and mix it with food and I would still get the benefit.  Just a thought.

Glad to hear it went well!  I love that you and Stacy are doing this ahead of me so I know what to expect.

Have you decided on a theme for the babies nursery yet?

Thanks, Tiff!  I'm breaking the news to my parents in a couple of hours when they come over for Father's Day.  How sad is it that I'm 31 and married and STILL a nervous wreck about telling them?  Ha ha!!  I think it's because I want them to be as excited as we are... but my gut is telling me that their initial reaction is going to be utter shock.  LOL

As far as a nursery theme goes... I've looked online to get ideas.  But I don't know what the gender is, yet.  All I know is that it will probably be something more or less gender neutral, because if I end up having a girl, I really don't want to have to look at a pink princess room every day... and if it's a boy, I don't want to bury him in sports.

Right now, the room is painted a very pale blue.  I will probably leave it as it is.  I'd like to add some clouds, and maybe paint a landscape or a tree with some woodland creatures or something.  Something soft and calming, but not too "babyish", so that they can grow with it... and the bedding will probably be bright for a splash of color.

I haven't even looked at furniture, because thankfully, I have so many friends who have had babies, I'll be able to buy something second-hand from them.

There's still lots of time to sleep on that.

How are you doing??

lol- I called my dad this morning and my mom answered. First thing she says is, "are you incubating yet?"  They are more than ready to hear the news.

i think we've already picked out themes for our future nursery. But because we have a nasty habit of moving.... A LOT! I'm painting them on canvas.  If it's a boy, it's going to be a soft and light woodsy, bugs and caterpillars type of thing. If it's a girl, it's going to be a soft and light woodsy girly bugs (lady bugs and butterflies) with a few wild flowers. I suppose time will tell.
