Engorged Kidney's??

So I got results from my last Ultrasound!
They keep seeing my baby's kidney's engorged!
I go back for yet another US in 6 weeks to look again!

Hoping baby is head down by then too!
She's been feet down head up the entire time lol!
Its nice not getting kicked up top but not so nice getting kicked down below lol

Please keep my baby girl in your hearts!

Has anyone else had this or heard of it?
Midwife told me it could be nothing!
But they wont know till' baby is born!

When I was pregnant with my first child they said her right kidney was small from the ultrasound.  They did a repeat ultrasound after she was born and her kidney was perfectly fine.  I know its hard but I would try not to worry about it until there is a definite problem.  Sometimes all this technology can cause more worry than its worth!

For whatever it's worth, a friend of mine had a son with what sounds to be the same issue.  They monitored it with some extra ultrasounds before the baby was born, and then with some follow up ultrasounds ever few months after he was born for the first couple of years.  Everything turned out just fine.  Based on what she told me, this is becoming more and more common to find in infants, given how much they can pick up on ultrasounds these days.  She said there is a lot of speculation that this may be a totally common/normal thing, but it's just now that we can see it on an ultrasound that it's even becoming a concern.  In the past, no one would have ever known, especially if the baby wasn't having a problem after they were born.

So try not to stress any more than necessary....I'd say odds are definitely in your favor.
