E.R. visit tonght. UGH!
I started having bad abdominal and back pains around 1 p.m. today and then a ton of pressure in my bottom. My Hubby and I got scared and he rushed me to the E.R. The E.R. was very thourough and did a ton of tests on me. Thank God they also did an ultrasound on me because I was in panic. The baby was fine. His or her heart beat was 168 b.p.m. and there was no sign of bleeding. Man! Did the baby grow so much just within 3 weeks! We were amazed! It was moving around and we could see it's little arms just moving also! I was overly emotional because I was so scared. AFter 3 hours in the E.R. we got the results. I have a HUGE ovarian cyst on my R side. It didn't help that I was also a bit dehydrated so they pumped me full of fluids in my I.V. and ran more tests (labs and urine) to be sure that I didn't have any infections. Nope, I'm fine. It's weirod because now I am wide awake from sleeping so much and I don't feel a thing. No pain. I hate PCOS but I'm so thankful that our baby is okay.
Wow that's scary :( I have PCOS and tend towards cysts, but thankfully I've never had one that big (that I know of).
I don't know how far along you are but definitely talk to your OB about monitoring it so that it doesn't cause any further complications this pregnancy. (It rupturing and causing pain etc)
I hope you feel better soon and make sure to stay hydrated!
