Gift suggestions

I really want to get a gift to give my 4 1/2 year old daughter that will be from the new baby. I don't want it to be too expensive as money is tight right now, I'd like to keep it under $10. I don't really know what I want. My husband suggested several things which I promptly said no too. I think I'll know what it should be when I see or hear about it, I'm just not sure what it will be, so any suggestions would be great. I know she's excited to be a big sister and my husband thinks that is enough, but I want to get her something special that is from the baby. Any suggestions?

I have a daughter about the same age and for Christmas she wanted and recieved a jewelry box. It is the kind with the little ballerina in it and you wind it up. My little boy who is 2 also loves to hear the music and see the ballerina spin. Kmart $15. It might be something that she enjoys winding up for the baby to hear also. Something they can share together.

I was the same age when my brother was born, and I remeber this like it was yesterday (it was clearly not!!) Anyway, my parents bought me a stuffed rabbit who was the 'big sister' rabbit, and they bought a tiny stuffed rabbit for me to give my brother who was the 'baby bunny rabbit'. We both still have our rabbits 30+ years later.

My mom got me a baby doll when my sister and brother were born so we coukd "take care of the babies together" I used to bathe lauren (the doll) right next to my little sister in the sink lol
