MOM during pregnancy?
I used www.safefetus.com while pregnant to check on the classifications for medications.
For the most part, Tylenol and Tylenol related products are okay as well as Benadryl.
I also was allowed to take Milk of Magnesia in moderation as needed and later got a prenatal with a stool softener. Hope that helps...and Congrats on your BFP....
P.S. I am also in San Antonio... :-)

CONGRATS!!! I was told to take it when I was having issues. Since I had MAJOR issues I was told to take MiraLAX every other day for the rest of the pregnancy. I swear by that stuff! It's way better than MOM anyday. That stuff never really worked too well for me. With MiraLAX I am going the next morning like you should with MOM.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I was told MoM was OK, but have to say, when I need immediate relief, I use a Dulcolax suppository. I know those things freak some people out, but they work really well. I actually ended up in the ER at the end of my 2nd trimester because of the pain I was in from constipation. But I hadn't gone in like 2 weeks. So the doc there was the one who told me to use the Dulcolax. He also said I could use Senekot (but that makes me really gassy) & Colace. I now take Colace every day (Miralax didn't work as well for me). I still get bound up sometimes, but those are the days I use Dolcolax.
Disclaimer: I didn't use any of these meds in my first trimester. I would check with your doc before using anything.
Good Luck! Tina
