Fertility book & OPK
I was just wondering which "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" book it is that everyone suggests. I looked on e-bay and there is 3 different ones. One is Pink and I guess it was published in 2006, a Red one published in 2001, and a Blue one published in 1995. They are ALL by Tony Weschler, I am just confused on which one to purchase, and if one is better than the other maybe with more knowlegable stuff, etc?
Also, I know I should know this by now, but it's been quite a long time since I've been researching stuff about TTC. I did look around to see if I could find the answer before I came here but no luck. I have read that once you get you +OPK there is NO need to continue to test. But just out of curiosity, if I did want to keep testing, once it is no longer a + does that mean that I already ovulated? Like for expample, I got a + yesterday and today, so if I take one tomorrow and it's - does that mean I already ovulated????

Any of the books will do -- it was just republished. I would go with the cheapest.
As for OPK, yes you ovulate about 12 - 36 hours after the first positive OPK (your surge). But, NO, it does not mean you have already ovulated if it is lighter the next day. It just means you are past the high point in your surge (but O is 12 - 36 hours after that high point). Hope that helps.

Not sure about the book, but about the OPK, just to clear something up - a +OPK does not ever guarantee ovulation. All it tells you for sure is that you geared up (had an LH surge). It is possible to gear up and not ovulate, frequently due to stress (but can be other reasons). One of the best ways, short of an ultrasound and bloodwork, to know you ovulated is to temp. That actually confirmed to me in April that I O'd late (as I'd suspected) due to the fact my little stinker (5lb yorkie) ran away on me. That was a crazy stressful day. (he's fine) But it delayed my O by a few days - I O'd 4 days after the +OPK.
