I know this has been brought up numerous times...

Just curious what your fetal heart rate is/was and what your baby's sex is.

I'm a little over 18 weeks and the heart rate is 138-140. I won't learn the sex until June 25th (which seems like forever!! )

Thanks!

Did you have a ultrasound at/around 10-11 weeks?  My ob's nurse swears she can tell by the heart rate then!  My little man heart rate then was 180, and she said boy, and she was right.  She said then, if it is lower than 180's at 10-11 weeks-it will be girl!

Just for fun you can put in your baby's heart rate and it will give you a gender prediction. I also wonder if that is really true. It will be fun to wait and see.

I was in L&D last Monday to get Punkin checked out since I almost passed out. The doctor there told me you can't go off heart rate. Relief for me since I feel like I am having a boy and the heart rate is always in the 150s. I do know that according to heartrates my sister should ahve been a boy and my brother should have been a girl.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

135 at 7 weeks and 162 at 13 weeks, so...who knows. When I plug those into the website it says girl, so we'll see (on Monday!)

Just to throw another interesting aspect of guessing gender, a friend of mine recently came across this article about placental placement.  To make a long story short, if your placenta is placed to the left, you have a 98% chance of having a girl.  Placed to the right, 98% chance of having a boy.

Whoa, that's cool!  So what do you say? "Hey, doc, I was wondering if you could tell me which side my placenta is on?"  LOL
