advice please.. baby sick

Hi ... Mallory has had the stomach flu in the last 24 hours.  She is now dehydrated. 
I can't  get her to drink pedilyte for the life of me.  She gags on the unflavored kind.
Any suggestions??!

We had to use a medicine dropper to give my son water, a about a teaspoon at a time every couple minutes. It was time consuming, but it helped him to get better. Good luck

how is mallory? molly wouldnt take pedilyte either....i just had to wait it out then i gave her watered down formula the first couple times until I knew she could hold it down. hope she recovers fast!

Stajah is seven weeks and gets consipated often and dr tells me to give her water. When she doesn't want t drink he tells me to give her Karo (corn syrip) in her water.  When I do that she drinks it really well.  He says 1tsp for every oz but I typically don't use that much.  It something you may want to see if dr. is ok with.  Hope she feels beter son.  Stacey

When Rowan has had times when he was sick and wouldn't drink anything, I resorted to doing water or half water half apple juice and gave it to him with a medicine syringe (like what you get with the infants motrin. He would complain and fight me about it, but if I could get him to take a syringeful every 5 minutes or so, he could at least stay hydrated.
