Holy crap... I'm pregnant!
Well, I got my big fat positive today! *happy dance* I haven't even told my husband... he's not home from work, yet. I went to Barnes & Noble and bought him an "Expectant Fathers" book... he loves to read. So I'll be like, "Oh, I went to B&N and got you a present." LOL!
I'm stoked. And keeping my fingers crossed, because I know it's early. And since this is my first pregnancy, I have no idea what lies ahead.
It's kind of weird because I pretty much know exactly when I conceived. It had to be either May 19 or 20, which puts my due date at February 6th. I thought I was just having PMS symptoms (due tomorrow) but my boobs have been BURNING for like a week, now. Usually, they're just a little tender for a couple of days... but I haven't even been able to sleep on my stomach.
And so, the fun begins! Weeee!

Gabriel with us for 20weeks in the womb. 10/23/07 Thank you! You know, my husband and I have only been trying for two months. In April, I missed my ovulation date (I think we started too late.) And so in May, I took my BBT every day, charted, checked my cervical mucus, and also did the OPK pee sticks. When I got close to my O date, I noticed my CM was getting that "egg white" consistency, so we did it every other day until I got my positve OPK. I actually got a positive OPK two days in a row, so we did it both days. Then, I had to leave on a business trip, and we didn't even see each other for 6 days. LOL
I know it's super early, so I'm trying really hard not to hold my breath. I'm excited because before I had my weight loss surgery, I actually had a doctor tell me that I would NEVER be able to get pregnant because I had irregular periods. So, the fact that I even CAN get pregnant is really exciting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well... my husband is so, so excited. All he's ever wanted is to be a daddy!
