Letting it all hang out in maternity shorts/pants?
I have a maternity pants/shorts question for you all, especially if you still have a flappy stomach (pannus.)
At what point did you start wearing pants or shorts under your belly (if ever?) I have been investigating the world of maternity pants and shorts, and it seems at some point you either have to decide to have the waistline underneath your belly (demi panels or no panels) or a big stretch panel up over everything. I am still at the stage (early) where I can wear regular clothes 1 size up over my stomach like I usually do, but am wondering if I will ever wear anything underneath instead. I imagine after years of "tucking in" my stomach it would feel weird to not have it contained.
Thoughts?

I found the best maternity pants at Motherhood.
Its called the secret fit belly.
It is a full panel that goes over your bump, but te nice part is its very light weight, really just a sheer spandex material, so until you have the big bump, you can also fold/roll it down. You wont have to have the big panel up over your stomach all the time.
Super comfy!

as far as the panni... or the blob as i lovingly call mine.... i thought at some point baby would fill up my loose skin pouch.... not so much... i have a full baby belly with a pouch that hangs off the bottom :(

I LOVE the secret fit belly from motherhood!! I have a few pieces that fit under my belly . I don't like them at all. They actually hurt when I wear them for too long. I have found that I'm loving sundresses right now because there are so many that have an umpire waist and I don't have to by maternity.
I have a pair of capris from Old Navy that have a waist but also a full panel. I have what someone else called a "b" belly. It's comfy but I look funny. All my other pants are Motherhood with the great full panels. They are sheer like someone said and are sooooooooooo comfy. I have a "d" belly with those and look preggo.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
