Anaya is 2 months today

So I cant believe its been 2 months already but it has been. Anaya is growing lovely and everyone comments on how pretty she is and how big she has gotten. I would say she is close to 9lbs now from the barely 4lbs 11 oz when she was born (I will have official stats next week). My baby girl, I think is amazing but I am biased. She has been smiling at me since 3 weeks, rolling over since 5 weeks, and laughing since 6.5 weeks. oh and she completely recognizes people she knows now and will sleep about 6 hours straight at night.

For Memorial Day I took her on her first trip to the beach with family and friends. She absolutely loved it and was up the entire 5 hours we were out. And then that night she slept from midnight till after 6 am lol. She wore her cute new yellow polka dot bathing suit and I think looked like a little diva with her sunhat. Disregard the big binkie and the obnixious holder...its the only one she will use.
 

And as I said I cant believe my baby girl is 2 months old now. Today in celebration we took a long walk and because it was just a beautiful day. She loves her stroller so why not. And we (well I lol) got some ice cream from Carvel. And we took pictures when we got back because I love her kisses and she loves to give them to me. Oh and I think she might end up being a thumb sucker cause since she found that finger it is always in her mouth.


As for me, I am doing great. Enjoying my little girl and sucking up every moment I have with her as I am realizing time is sure flying. I do miss being pregnant but I enjoy having her in my arms even more. I am down to about 146lbs most days. I am really trying to stop losing and maintain here but boy is it hard. Especially while dealing with a newborn because it is sooo hard to find time to eat enough to not lose. Eating has become a chore and it has to be scheduled in my day and even sticking to that is hard work. But I must say I sure had quite a bit of courage as i too dawned a bathing suit, and a bikini at that on a public beach on memorial day and 7 weeks after having a baby. I know i need and want a boob job and a tummy tuck but if I might say so myself...and I will...I dont look too shabby lol.

Anaya is so beautiful!  I like the giant binkie too! lol  Now you fantastic.  Great job on the weight loss and you are so pretty I can't stand it.  I hope that you can figure out how to keep the weight stable.  I would like to stalk you on FB too so I am going to add you!  lol

You look fabulous Simone  and Miss Anaya is just gorgeous... everytime I see her I can't help but think what a muffin she is... I bet her hair is soooooo soft too :) I love the big huge binky - it looks like she's chewing on a flower ;)

Girlfriend...you look fabulous!  Anaya is adorable and I am glad that you are both doing well.  I can't believe my baby girl will be 3 months old next week.  The time definitely flies so enjoy every moment of it.
