Just one question, will it HURT as much as insertion? Goodness, I still have nightmares about that.
So my plan is, have it removed today, and start TTC in Aug. Thats about 2 notmal cycles without the IUD, which was recommended.

Nope does hurt a bit. One tiny little pull and your done. Careful though :) I removed my paragard 11/30 and was 3 weeks pregnant by Christmas!!!!!! I thought i had a few months of trying also but our lil boy wanted to be concieved immediately i guess!!!!!

Hi. Just wondered how it went for you?

I had a Mirena IUD inserted in Oct. 2005. Hurt like crazy!! (never given birth/pregnant) Had it removed in Sept. 2009. That hurt almost as bad.

(I got pregnant in Feb 2010 after having the Mirena removed. Just in case you're wondering.)
