OT: Sippy cups

Cooper is 11 months (will be a year soon!) and he doesn't much care for the sippy either.

I just keep giving it to him.

Does Alex eat table food?  Give him some thick potatoes or a peanut butter sandwich then offer him the sippy.  That's when Cooper drinks the most.

I know the doc is going to tell me no more bottles at 12 months but if Cooper won't drink from a sippy I'm going to have to keep bottles for a while.

My problem is Cooper only drinks milk (formula) from the bottle.....he won't drink water or juice (I'm fine with him not drinking juice and I've only offered once or twice when he was sick).  So if he won't drink water or juice and we wean him from 30oz of formula a day to..... 16 oz of milk?  I need to find a way to get liquids into him!

Stubborn babies!

Good Luck!

Cooper is growing way too fast!

Alex eats all sorts of food.  I try to always offer it after something that I'd think would make him thirsty.  Last night he had pizza and I was dying of thirst afterwards, thought for sure he would be too, and he was.  But he refused the sippy cup and just screamed until i handed him a bottle.  He pretty much just throws the cup if it gets anywhere close to him.  *sigh*
