37 week belly pic - only 2 weeks til my C section!!!

I always carry a little on the low side, but yeah, I think she's lower than normal usually now.

Wow - two weeks again! It will be here before you know it!! Are you all ready for the baby?

You have a cute round baby bump! I think my butt is getting as big as my stomach. I swear if looks like I am having triplets (one in each butt cheek and one in the belly). It is amazing!

I still have 12 weeks until my due date!

I think my butt has gotten bigger too, I'm ready to get back to the weight loss though. I'm trying to plan my eating now so I'm all ready. I have eaten much more that I should be and things I shouldn't and I don't want to get back into that old routine.

I am ready except for the car seat! I am getting frustrated with the fire department who thinks it's tight enough but I know it's not. I can move it side to side a lot! They local fire department here are not registered car seat installers so they don't know what they're doing. All of the car seat clinics are happening after I'm having the baby and no one seems to want to help me. It's making me mad. Sorry, I had to vent.

Do you have a childrens hospital close by? Call them and they have free times to stop by and have it checked. All the hospitals offer carseat safety class but this is just a quick installation/check for you. It might be a call worth placing.

The closest children's hospital is a couple hours away. I'm going to call a different fire department and see if they can make an appointment with me with a certified installer.

As far as the car seat goes.  I've gotten fairly decent at getting car seats in TIGHT.   The trick I've found with rear facing seats is you have to put a rolled up towel (or a piece of fun-noodle) under the seat (or the base, if your using an infant carrier).   I actually sit in the car seat.  I know that's not an easy task when you're 37 weeks pregnant.   While sitting in the car seat, that's when you tightened the seat belt up as tight as you can get it.   Be careful when using shoulder belts, or you'll get it lopsided from pulling it too tight.

I wish I lived closer, I'd come over and see if I could get it tight enough for you liking.  I'm pretty anal about the car seats.  I don't want them to budge at all!

I really want the carseat in the middle cause I know it's the safest. We have a minivan and so I'm putting her in the middle row in the middle seat. Well the seat belt is a shoulder belt that is coming from the side of the van, so that's akward anyway and then I have a locking clip on it (which I've never used before cause we had a different car when my daughter Ruby was born and it was a lap belt that we could tighten ourselves - much easier). The shoulder belt part doesn't seem like it gets tight. If I have to, I can switch her to the side but I know that's not the safest (there is a latch hookup there which might be easier).

I always kept Hannah in the middle too.   I wanted Noah there too, but there just wasn't enough room.  I could get the seat in, but I was afraid Hannah would be poking his eyes out.    We need a mini van (I have a honda accord now).
I used to take my 6yo nephew places.  Now I can't fit him in the car and I can't put him in the front since I can't turn off the air bag. 

Oh well.

Thanks!! I have had this top since I first bought maternity clothes and so I have several pictures in the same shirt which really makes the growing belly show how it's been getting bigger.
