Nursery Pics

So we finished getting the nursery set up this weekend and I am so excited to have it done! I am so pleased with the way it turned out. I wanted it done before my showe so I can put stuff away when we get home from the shower. We still need our area rug and a couple wall hangings, but other than that, we're done! I washed clothes and put them in the drawers too. I can't believe how much we got accomplished.

The 2nd picture is a little fuzzy, but it's a panoramic view so you can see more of the nursery. The first pic is to give you more of an accurate idea of the colors.

It's cute- the pattern is perfect- not too themed.  I was torn myself when it came to furniture (white or dark).  Your room looks very functional. I think the hard wood floor look so traditional to the homes- but we put an area rug down on ours too to make it feel more baby friendly.  (Any just because I am a super worry wart- remember to take your bumpers out before you use the crib- my dtr was able to shift around very young) Great job!

Thanks! We are planning on getting an area rug too. As for the bumpers, I talked to my pediatrician about that and he said that, as long as they are very secure, that you don't have to worry about it. It'll be a while before she's in her crib anyway so we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Very cozy looking, and I love your crib! And I bet the hardwood floor will be great for when your little one starts to drool and you can just wipe it up. I had hardwood floors all in my house when I had my daughter, and loved the fact that I could mop (I was a lysol fanatic). When she started crawling we went to Home Depot and got a few packages of those huge foam squares that interlock for the floor (any yes I mopped those too). Gorgeous nursery and congrats!
