Coming Home Outfits - Boy

I thought I would ask you all for ideas for a coming home outfit. I am having a boy and due in August. It will be 100 degrees in Texas when it is time to bring him home. Can you all give me ideas? I just don't know what constitutes a "coming home outfit" for a boy.

In that heat I would just do a cute onesie.  And bring a light blanket to drap over the carseat to keep the sun out.

Honey, it's anything you want it to be. Brantley came home in a one piece blue and white striped outfit, no socks, no blanket - as it was also 100 degrees here in June.

I had my litle man last July, and I did a cute little one piece green striped outfit.  It had a collar, and a little tiger on the front.  Something cute, and not really "pajamay".  It was like a shorts type.  I had little socks, I can't remember if we even used them.  I would have a light blanket just because of the sun or the air in the car ride home.

Thanks guys for the ideas. I guess I am just having a harder time since it will be the middle of summer.

My coming home outfit choices for a boy were just a onesie and a pair of shorts or a one piece outfit that was covered in frogs.

jayson came home in a sleeper.. we didnt get released until 930 pm and by then he had already puked on his outfit...  i got him some little tan shorts and a white polo... first mistake was buying a kid white...

Note to self, no white polo :)

Even if they tell you that you are having a big baby get a new born size! I was having a big baby so we got the 0-3mo size and she was swimming in it even at 9lbs!! We then had to go out and buy newborn sleepers so she had a few things to wear until she gained a little weight.

Thanks! I don't have anything newborn. I am sure I will get a few newborn things are showers which is why I didn't buy any newborn things. Also, the legs on my little man have been measuring four weeks ahead since week 12!
