6 Weeks Pregnant

Hello, I am six weeks pregnant, any suggestions on diet, exercise or anything since I have had my WLS 18 months ago.

Congrats and welcome!  Make sure you're taking your vits religiously...if you're deficient in something...the baby'll get what he/she needs from you...you'll be the one suffering.  I don't know if your dr would recommend upping any particular ones...and maybe some of the women who've btdt will pop in here and tell you what they take when pg so you know what, if anything, to watch out for. 

I assume 18 months out that you're able to eat pretty regularly, so just keep doing that, even if it means having smaller meals throughout the day.

Congrats! Since you had RNY, be sure to take extra calcium citrate, since we don't absorb any calcium from milk or food. Also, let your surgeon know you are pregnant, they may want to do monthly lab work for your baby's benefit.
