WLS & HCG Hormones???

Hi ladies. My husband and I have been ttc. With my first three pregnancies, prior to WLS, I got pregnant on the first try. This time, it is taking a few months. I have a 28 day cycle that is NEVER-EVER late. Well,  my period was due 26 May. I have been having every pregnancy symptom....morning sickness, exhaustion (bad exhaustion), breaking out, bloated, sore bbs, sore nipples, hot flashes, flu like symptomsm (nobody else is sick and I had a "head cold" my entire pregnancy with my last), peeing constantly, etc....no sign of my period at all. I have taken numerous HPT tests that were all negative. I had a blood test done at the ob who said it was negative, but they did not do a count, just a simple negative or positive. My husband swares my bbs are bigger and that I am pregnant by the way I look and act vs. how I am when my period is due , and classic symptoms (since we have been through this 3 times). I was just wondering if anyone had a problem similar or if maybe my hormones were off since surgery making it harder to show up on a test? My period is never late. NEVER in 18 years- unless I was pregnant.  Also, I was wondering if anyone had a hard time conceiving after surgery that had no problems prior??   Thanks for the help ladies.

Even women who have religious cycles can have a cycle or two every few years where you ovulate a few days later, thus causing your cycle to be longer.  WLS does not change the way HCG shows in the body, so my guess is just delayed ovulation (which could also mean you would get your positive later as well).  Hopefully you will have your answer one way or the other soon.
