Thought I'd be a lucky one...
She has found my ribcage! I thought for a long time since Im wasnt "showing" that it was mainly because I have a bigger frame and a very long torso. (Im 5'9'' and its all upper body really)
I was so wrong!! The other day she balled up in my right side of the rib cage and I thought it was just a wierd feeling...well now, that is her fav spot and OMG is it uncomfortable!!
Shes kicking more now, which I thought was a little wierd cause the books say that movement slows at this stage of pregnancy (im 32 weeks 3 days) We have an OB appointment Friday (Im on weekly NST and ultrasounds) I was mortified when I went to the last one and he said she was 4.5 lbs....Im scared now that when he measures her she will be like 6 lbs...THATS HUGE for a baby at 33 weeks gestation....
I havent gained any extra weight, I am truely wondering if every calorie I get is going to her....is it possible for her to just be a "big girl" and me not gain anything?? I mean am I actually "losing" weight but shes getting it so it just balances out??
Im so confused and worried, and FREAKIN out that shes actually gotta come out soon....through the NUNU!! ( I really dont want a 9 pounder or more coming out of the NUNU! )
Sorry so graphic....Love yall!! Please dont mind the vent....Im freakin out a little!! :)
Im not sure how big she is, i have a growth u/s next week and am hoping she's at least 4.5lbs..shes been measuring small =/
hope yours doesnt get TOO big!!
Secondly, I've birthed 7lbs 10oz all the way up to 10lbs 9oz. and guess what?! the 9-10½+ pound babies were EASIER!!!
Remember baby's average weight SHOULD be 8 pounds not 6 pounds!
I'm around your weekage too, and my little girl's butt is up in my ribs on the right side too, LOL It's uncomfortable to say the least.

Mom to 8 ~ Adelyn Grace arrived July 8, 2010!
Heheh I feel your pain.. literally! I didn't show til I was almost 7 months and from the get-go, baby boy has been favouring the right side.. I even joked with my OB that it felt like I was expecting a cat more than a baby because of the way he is always curled up in a ball on my right.. It's to a point where sometimes eating and breathing are uncomfortable because of the pressure on my ribs - for the past two nights now I've had to sleep on my right side because sleeping on the left hurts due to his position... I have no idea how big he is but at my last OB apt I was measuring right on target for my gestation period.. Between the rib pain and the "mystery groin cramps", I'm looking forward to having this baby soon!
Thank G-d there are only 6 or so weeks to go!
