Shower Hostess Gifts

I wanted to get some ideas for you all on shower hostess gifts? I have three showers coming up. One is my personal shower hosted by four of my close friends. Then, I have a work shower off-site hosted by my department. Then, we will have a shower at hubby's work (not our idea) and two people will host it.

I wanted to see what is something I can give each of them. I am just honored that they want to throw us a shower and a little uncomfortable as I don't like a lot of fuss or attention on me :) I just want to show them our gratitude and just can't think of something. Obviously, I can't give them all a pedicure as that would add up fast with 11 people to buy for but I want something meaningful.

Hmmmm, I am starting to think about this too. It's still a new concept to me to get someone a gift for hosting a shower. I don't really want to get a little trinket with their name on it so I think I actually might opt for the mani or pedi. I only have 2 people to buy for so it's much easier for me. But I am going to come back on here and see what people say and maybe I'll get a better idea (0:

If it was just my four friends, I would be giving them gift certificates for a pedicure!

I never thought about a hostess gift. I think I might get something for my friend that is throwing me one. The one I had in Ohio was a surprise. Ok, I was tipped off about it, but it should have been one. My third shower is by my MIL and the hubby is giving her $$$ for it so she aint getting crapola from me. She is just now being nice to me since I am def preggo. Small vent: I am throwing the hubby a surprise b-day party and she hasn't done a damn thing for it and here he is giving her money for the shower. UGH!!!! She really aint getting a damn thing from me. Sorry about the vent.

I bought these little hummel plates for my shower hostesses since they all collect hummel stuff.

How about (since it's a baby shower) that you get them all different seedlings?

That is an idea. Several of them love gardening/flowers!

Just got a thought along those lines. Since some like flowers/ gardening you could do little seedlings or plants for them. The others try to find something inexpensive for a hobby they have since that shows you have put a little thought into it and matching it to the person.

Just coming from someone who does NOT love plants and gardening...for the friends who like it, this would be a great gift, but for those who don't, it might not be the best idea. But you know your friends better than I do.

 “The Cosmopolitan

I found these cute costmetic bags that I can have their intials on each one. What do you all think? I was going to also put a Starbucks gift certificate with each one.
