Sharp stabbing pains last night

So last night I got the craving for some popcorn.  Haven't had it in forever...maybe a handful  here and there.

Afterwords I got the sharpest stabbing pains (like someone was stabbing my upper abs - belly button and up - with an icepick).  It lasted about 15 mins. and just as I was about to give in and go to the ER or L&D it eased off and then went away.

Baby was moving and wiggling the entire time I had this pain.  It was not my lower pelvic region so  I did not think it was contractions.  And, I have never had anything like this since my GBS over 3 years ago.

Was it just the popcorn and lack of room in there these days or what?  I have a tendency to get food "stuck" more frequently these days too.  I have to be very mindful of how much and what I am eating...somethings that use to go down ok or not any longer (chicken for instance mad me miserable 2 nights ago).

Npe...doc took that out with my open GBS.  It was the strangest thing...and never felt this way before even right out of surgery never had that kind of pain.

I've actually had gas pains that feel like someone is stabbing me like that, hopefully it was something minor like that.

I figure it had to be something gastro-intenstinal esp. since everthing is being pushed up by teh ever growing babe.  My stomach is a little sensitive today so I think it may have just been the popcorn...maybe too many kernals or ate it too fast and not chewing well enough but good grief never felt anything like that before.  If it happens again I am asking the doc.

I have never had a problem with popcorn but we are all different. That's so weird!
